What We Do
At DIAM, we specialize in developing portfolio and fund management strategies that span a universe of risk profiles and investment styles. Strategies are developed to meet specific client needs using bottom-up analysis of far-reaching research resources, top-down analysis of macro-economic trends, and quantitative analysis of data using the latest financial engineering technology and computer modeling, or a combination of some of the strategies mentioned above. Domestically, we offer customized managed accounts for institutional investors, as well as a growing range of award-winning investment trusts for both institutions and individuals. Internationally, we offer institutional investors tailor-made, full-service managed solutions that draw on a wealth of expertise in Japanese equity, Japanese fixed-income, and a range of other pension and retirement planning products.
With a solid track record in managing Japanese pension assets, DIAM is one of the largest asset management companies in Japan, with Japanese pension assets under management of approximately ¥5 trillion*. Our clients include pension funds, public funds, financial institutions, and corporate clients, for whom we provide strategic products tailored to suit their respective investment goals and investment time spans.
